Magali carries out your eye test in a dedicated, fully equipped room. With a master’s degree in vision science and three years in an ophthalmology practice, she takes the time to check your eyesight and understand your everyday needs.

Please bring your prescription, your current glasses (or contact lenses) and your health insurance card.
An in-store eye test lets us renew or adjust your prescription within the limits set by French law. It does not replace a visit to your ophthalmologist.

Your questions
Is my prescription still valid?
As a rule, a glasses prescription is valid for 5 years between ages 16 and 42, then for 3 years after 42, unless your ophthalmologist states otherwise. Not sure? Call the shop and Magali will check with you.
What about children?
In-store eye tests are for people aged 16 and over. For younger children, Magali makes their glasses from the ophthalmologist’s prescription, with frames designed for them.
Do you bill health insurers directly?
Yes. Depending on your French health insurance, you don’t pay upfront for the part it covers. Quotes are free and you can pay in instalments.
